Yankees option Jones, Cruz as Cole, Caballero return from injured list

The Yankees made a pair of roster moves on Friday, optioning Spencer Jones and Yovanny Cruz to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre while activating Gerrit Cole and José Caballero from the injured list.

Cole was activated from the 15-day injured list, while Caballero returned from the 10-day injured list. Jones and Cruz were sent down to clear roster space.
