Preprint: A mechanical model connects tissue growth that stops, continues or stays in proportion
A new arXiv preprint proposes one continuum-mechanics framework for bounded, unbounded and proportionate tissue growth. Its central results are theoretical: the model predicts a stress threshold, long-term proportions set by material parameters and a turnover-dependent growth rate, but it does not test those predictions against biological measurements.
