Preprint modeling finds conductivity depends on frame, while sound attenuation stays the same
A new arXiv preprint examines how two conventions for describing relativistic fluids affect transport coefficients. In its Boltzmann nucleon-gas model, the Landau–Lifshitz conductivity is lower than the Eckart value, while the calculated sound attenuation coefficient is identical in both descriptions.
