Multiple reports say Missouri and Indiana are closing in on a non-conference men’s basketball game on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2026, in Bloomington.

Rock M Nation reported that Missouri is nearing the matchup against Indiana, while Crimson Quarry said Indiana is reportedly finalizing a home game against Missouri. Both reports point to the same date and location, but neither school has officially announced the game.

The game would give Missouri another notable non-conference opponent on its 2026-27 schedule. According to the Rock M Nation report, Indiana would be Missouri’s third Big Ten opponent on the non-conference slate, alongside Illinois and Nebraska.

For Indiana, the reported matchup would add another high-major home game to the schedule. The Crimson Quarry report said no return game is currently planned in Columbia.

Missouri is coached by Dennis Gates, and Indiana is coached by Darian DeVries.
