Delhi traffic police issues advisory ahead of summit rehearsal at Bharat Mandapam

Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory ahead of a summit rehearsal at Bharat Mandapam in central Delhi, warning commuters of traffic restrictions and diversions on May 19.

According to the advisory, the rehearsal is scheduled between 12 noon and 3 pm. During that window, traffic on key stretches in the area is expected to be affected.

Reportedly affected roads include Sardar Patel Marg and Mathura Road. Commuters have been advised to plan for delays and use alternate routes where possible.

The suggested diversions include Ring Road and Vande Mataram Marg.

The advisory comes ahead of a series of international summits linked to Bharat Mandapam later this month and into early June.

Drivers heading through central Delhi should allow extra travel time and follow updates from traffic authorities if conditions change.
