Lakers star Luka Dončić is set to miss at least the rest of the regular season after suffering a Grade 2 left hamstring strain, according to multiple reports.

CBS Sports reported Friday that the Lakers announced Dončić will miss the remainder of the regular season. The Washington Post, citing AP, reported the same basic update, and ESPN later reported that he is expected to be out at least through the end of the regular season.

Dončić was injured in Thursday night’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Reports say an MRI showed the hamstring strain after the game.

The injury creates an immediate playoff concern for the Lakers, who are already navigating the final stretch of the schedule without one of their top stars. Dončić’s status for the postseason remains uncertain.

There is also reporting that his camp may pursue an extraordinary circumstances challenge related to award eligibility, but the main confirmed update is that Dončić will not return during the regular season.
