Arista Networks and TeamViewer both released first-quarter results, with Arista beating expectations and TeamViewer reaffirming guidance.
Arista Networks and TeamViewer both reported first-quarter results this week, offering a quick read on two very different parts of the software and networking market.
Arista said revenue rose 35.1% year over year to $2.709 billion in the first quarter and that it expects about $2.8 billion in second-quarter revenue. The company said demand tied to AI networking remained strong and that adjusted operating results and cash flow were also solid.
TeamViewer reported first-quarter revenue of €183.2 million and said enterprise annual recurring revenue rose 8% currency-adjusted year over year to €737.3 million. The company reaffirmed full-year 2026 guidance.
The market reaction was more positive for Arista, which Reuters-sourced coverage said beat expectations, while TeamViewer’s report was described as more mixed. The two releases underscore how investors are still rewarding companies with clear growth tied to AI infrastructure while scrutinizing slower software names for momentum.
Both reports were fresh releases, with Arista publishing after the U.S. market close on May 5 and TeamViewer releasing on May 6 in Europe.
