Harris County MUD 412 orders boil-water notice after pressure loss

Harris County MUD 412 has issued a boil-water notice after a loss of pressure in its water system.

The district said the notice applies to all customers and was issued after the pressure loss was detected. Residents were told to boil water before drinking, cooking and other household uses.

A neighboring district, HCMUD 504, said it was aware of the same water-pressure event and later reported that service had normalized while the boil notice remained in effect.

The notice is still in place, and officials have not yet said when it will be lifted.
