Jackson Holliday joins Orioles in St. Petersburg, then is activated from injured list

Jackson Holliday joined the Orioles in St. Petersburg ahead of their series against the Rays and was later activated from the 10-day injured list on May 18.

MLB.com first reported that Holliday had arrived with the club as Baltimore prepared to open the series in Tampa Bay. The Orioles then made the roster move official, reinstating him from the injured list after he had been out following right hamate surgery.

The activation confirmed that Holliday was back with the team after a stretch on the injured list, though he was not in Monday's lineup.

The Orioles had not immediately said how much Holliday would play right away, leaving his usage and the club's infield alignment as the next questions to watch.
