ISPRA says the Italian Conference of Physics Students 2026 is underway in Rome this week, bringing together students and researchers for talks, posters and public-facing science activities.
The official notice says CISF26 runs from April 13 to 17 at Roma Tre University and marks the 10th edition of the event. ISPRA and Roma Tre say the conference includes about 160 participants from 19 universities, while the AISF conference page puts the number at about 150 students.
The event’s themes include science communication and climate change, alongside the usual student physics presentations and discussions. Roma Tre and AISF describe the conference as including plenary lectures and expo-style activities open to the public in part.
The conference is being hosted by Roma Tre’s Rectorate and Department of Mathematics and Physics, with institutional support from ISPRA and other partners.
The main event is scheduled to continue through April 17.
