JBS USA and UFCW Local 7 say they reached a new deal covering the Greeley plant after a monthlong strike, with normal operations resuming.

JBS USA and UFCW Local 7 say they have reached a new agreement covering the company’s Greeley, Colorado beef plant, ending a monthlong strike.

The company said the deal restores normal operations at the facility and runs through April 2028. JBS said the agreement includes wage increases and a $750 one-time payment.

AP reported that workers at the plant had reached an agreement after weeks of strike action and would return to normal operations. Reuters-reported coverage said the deal covered nearly 3,800 workers and described it as a tentative two-year agreement, while other local reporting said a ratification vote was scheduled or already underway.

The strike began on March 16 and followed a dispute at one of Colorado’s largest meatpacking plants. The agreement appears to resolve the immediate labor dispute, though some reporting differed on whether the contract had already been ratified at the time of publication.
