Mavs' Flagg, 19, becomes youngest NBA player to score 50 points

It was a huge individual night in an otherwise difficult result for Dallas, which has struggled at home. The scoring outburst stood out even more because it came in a game the Mavericks did not win.

AP-syndicated coverage said Flagg’s 51-point performance set the age-based NBA mark, while ESPN also reported that he became the youngest player ever to reach 50 points in a game.
