CDC’s latest dashboard shows 1,671 confirmed U.S. measles cases as of April 2, with Utah accounting for most of the weekly increase.

U.S. measles cases continue to rise, with the latest CDC dashboard showing 1,671 confirmed cases as of April 2.

The CDC updated its measles page on April 3 and said the numbers reflect cases reported to the agency by 12:00 p.m. on Thursdays. Secondary coverage of the update said the total rose by 96 cases in the latest week, with Utah accounting for most of the increase.

The CDC said 94% of confirmed 2026 cases are outbreak-associated. Its dashboard also lists 33 jurisdictions with cases this year, excluding 10 international visitor cases from the main U.S. resident total.

The new figures keep the national total near 1,700 and underscore how much of the current growth is tied to outbreaks rather than isolated cases. Utah remains the main driver of the recent increase, according to the latest reporting on the CDC update.

The CDC’s measles tracking page is updated weekly, so the national total could change again in the next posting.
