Michigan's 'Fab Five' part of Final 4 alt-broadcast

Michigan’s famous Fab Five are getting back together for Final Four weekend.

AP reported Thursday that Chris Webber, Jalen Rose, Juwan Howard, Jimmy King and Ray Jackson will take part in an alternate broadcast of Michigan’s semifinal against Arizona on Saturday. The feed will air on truTV and HBO Max.

The reunion adds a nostalgia element to a high-profile March Madness matchup and gives viewers another way to follow the Wolverines’ Final Four run. Michigan has already been confirmed for the semifinal, and official tournament programming notes say the Final Four will be available across TNT Sports platforms and HBO Max.

TNT Sports has also said Webber and Rose are part of its broader college basketball coverage this season. The alternate broadcast brings the former Michigan stars back into the spotlight as the Wolverines prepare for one of the biggest games in the program’s recent history.
