NHTSA has published notice of a virtual Motorcyclist Advisory Council meeting on July 15, 2026. Public speakers must register in advance and submit written remarks by July 3.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a virtual public meeting of its Motorcyclist Advisory Council for July 15, 2026, according to a Federal Register notice published May 18.

The meeting is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET and will require pre-registration. NHTSA said members of the public who want to address the council must submit written remarks by July 3.

The Motorcyclist Advisory Council advises NHTSA on motorcyclist safety, road design and related transportation issues. NHTSA says the council's meetings are open to the public and are announced in the Federal Register and on the agency's events page.

The notice adds another opportunity for the public to follow the council's work before the meeting takes place in mid-July.
