Cameron Norrie beat Miomir Kecmanovic in Monte Carlo for his first win at the event since 2019, according to BBC Sport and Sky Sports.
Cameron Norrie earned his first Monte Carlo win since 2019 on Sunday, beating Miomir Kecmanovic in the opening round of the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters.
Sky Sports reported the Briton won 6-2, 4-6, 7-6(7-0) in a three-set battle. BBC Sport said the result ended Norrie’s long drought at the event and marked his first win in Monte Carlo since 2019.
The match was part of the opening day of play at the 2026 tournament, with the ATP and the official Monte-Carlo site both listing the fixture for Sunday, April 5.
Norrie’s victory sends him into the next round at the ATP Masters 1000 event and gives the British No. 1 a confidence boost on clay.
The tournament continues through April 12 in Monaco.
