MLB moved Saturday’s Orioles-Red Sox game in Baltimore up from 4:05 p.m. ET to 12:05 p.m. ET because of forecasted inclement weather.

The league said gates at Camden Yards will open at 10:30 a.m. Tickets for the originally scheduled game will remain valid.

The updated start time was confirmed in an official MLB news item and press release on Friday, with the Orioles’ official team page also reflecting the noon start.

The change gives both clubs an earlier first pitch before weather conditions become a concern later in the day.

MLB has not announced any further change to the game as of publication.
