YouTrip has launched YouTrip Family, a travel card and wallet for children ages 7 to 18 that gives parents or guardians control over funding, spending limits and card locks through the YouTrip app.

The company said the product carries zero foreign exchange fees and is designed for family travel and everyday spending. Despite its broader regional positioning, the initial rollout is limited to Singapore citizens.

Rollout

YouTrip said permanent residents and other Singapore pass holders will be eligible from September 2026. The launch page says the child account is linked to a parent’s YouTrip account, with adults managing settings and monitoring usage.

What comes next

The Business Times reported that YouTrip plans to bring the product to Thailand and Australia after the Singapore launch. The company has framed YouTrip Family as part of its wider regional growth push, but the first release remains Singapore-only for now.

Revision note

Revised to reflect Singapore-only rollout and clarified regional expansion plans.
