Ukrainian police have raided dozens of draft officials across the country in a nationwide anti-corruption operation targeting conscription offices.
Authorities said the searches were carried out in 16 regions and focused on current and former officials suspected of illegal enrichment, false asset declarations and other corruption-related offenses. Police said they seized cash, cars and motorcycles during the operation.
The National Police said more than 150 administrative charges were filed. Coverage of the operation said the documented violations were valued at nearly 92 million hryvnias.
The raids come during wartime, when Ukraine’s draft system has been under intense public scrutiny. Officials described the action as part of a broader effort to clean up abuse in recruitment-related institutions.
No arrests or formal criminal charges were confirmed in the material reviewed. The next step will be whether the searches produce named suspects or criminal cases.
