Chris Wood is set to return to Nottingham Forest's squad for Thursday's Europa League tie at Porto after a six-month injury layoff.
Chris Wood is set to return to Nottingham Forest's squad for the Europa League quarter-final first leg at Porto after around six months out injured.
BBC Sport reported on Wednesday that Wood will be back in the squad for the trip, adding another option for Forest ahead of Thursday's match.
The timing fits earlier reporting that Wood had been targeting a return for the Porto game after recent minutes with Forest's Under-21 or B-team squads. UEFA squad material for the tie also places him in Forest's player pool.
Porto's official site confirms the first leg is on April 9, with the return match due on April 16.
Wood's return would be a boost for Forest as they go into a major European knockout tie with one of their more experienced forwards available again.
