According to the Portland Press Herald, voters passed the York School Department operating budget, reported at about $48.7 million, and approved the town operating budget, reported at about $34 million.
The election was held May 16, 2026, and included 73 questions on the ballot. The Press Herald reported that Modern won the write-in race for the school committee seat with 373 votes, ahead of Sean Bradburn, who received 245.
York School Department’s official website lists the school committee and its current term expirations, including a seat with a 2026 expiration.
Town officials maintain a referendum results archive, and additional certified records may still be posted after the vote.
